1f you’ve spent any time around the Northeast Ohio dart scene, you know Gary Rice. He’s the guy you want to draw as a partner—not just because he’s a phenomenal player, but because he’s also known for his exceptional sportsmanship. Gary brings a level of wisdom and a grounded perspective to the game that serves as an inspiration to veteran players and newcomers alike.

Gary set the bar high at our Kick-Off Tournament on April 25 and his performance was nothing short of historic. He made a clean sweep of the day’s competitive events, securing 1st Place in the Blind Draw alongside his partner, Jeff B., before going on to take 1st Place in the Singles event; proving that whether he’s playing for a team or himself, Gary is the man to beat.

Gary also etched his name into the NOD history books by snagging our very first 180 Incentive Award (and nearly added a Cricket Trips award to his collection, too!).

Despite his success, Gary remains a total class act and a humble ambassador of the sport. Whether he’s celebrating a win or offering a quiet word of advice to a new player, Gary Rice represents the heart of what Northeast Ohio Darts is all about!
